How To Do The *Read More* for posts

    Hi,
    On my home page, I wanted to have only the newest blog post on it. I also wanted to have the option of instead of scrolling through all of the blog posts, to have *read more* to the end of each post. If that makes sense?

    Hello,

    Do you mean that you want only one post displayed on your homepage, your single most recent post? I’m unsure if this is possible, I’ll have to look into it for you.

    You will need to insert a Read More tag within each post (or More block if using the Gutenberg editor), to show only an excerpt of the post instead of the entire post: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/more-block/2/

    Thanks for clarifying, however it doesn’t appear to be possible to display only one recent post on the homepage, without extensive customization that goes beyond the realm of support.
