Can I customize the font size, font color and the position of site title and site-description in the theme “Standard” manually in the Custom CSS?
Thanks for your help.

One more question, please.

Checkout the “Header” section of the Standard color style guide FAQ. That will give you the selectors and examples you need to change the color.
For font size you would just add font-size property in those same selectors.
For positon, you could mess with margins and paddings in those same selectors to adjust positioning, but be aware that changing those could effect the mobile view.
The highest you will be able to get your search is by dropping the Search widget into the “Header” widget area.

Thanks for your kind reply.
How can I put the Search widget into the “Header” widget area?
I could not find the “Header” widget area, under the menu “Appearance > Widgets.” -

That is my mistake. The “Header” widget area is only available in the WordPress.org version of our theme.
The highest you can get a Search widget in the WordPress.com version of the theme is the first item in the sidebar.

Okay. Thanks.
BTW, can I put a text link on the upper right corner (in the Header Section) of the blog?
-
skyblueguy : :
The only way to add text or links to the header area is in the header menus.
I have noted that we could add a header widget area like we have for our WordPress.org version, but no promises on an ETA until we discuss it as a team.
