How to add social media icons under the slideshow in the main page?

    Hello,

    On the Photographer theme example (https://photographerdemo.wordpress.com) I see that there are social media icons/links under the slideshow in the main/home page (Facebook, twitter, pinterest) – How can I do that to my own website?

    Hello!

    For the social icons to show, you will need to add links to the site you want to display by going in the Theme Options Panel from the WP Admin. Under Appearance > Theme Options you’ll see a few available fields for Social Options. By adding the links the icons will automatically show in the footer of your site.

    Are the social media options only specific to the given options? is it possible to add a ‘LinkedIn’ icon?

    Hello,

    At the moment the icons are specific to the given options. I can pass along a request for a LinkedIn icon to our developers though to consider in an update. If it’s approved for an update it will be added in the options you currently see.

    Rebecca that would be great if you could pass a request to your developers! The LinkedIn Icon is usually a professional necessity in the world of social media and digital recruiting! (Also because my website is a career portfolio).

    Is there anyway I could be kept int the loop with the request/developers?
