    Hi Sakin,

    Is there a way to remove the light green background behind my front page and have the black background extend full-width on all 4 sides?

    Sorry to bother you again, and thanks in advance!

    Hi jacwyndarling,

    Looks like you have change the Color Palette from Custom Colors. So, you can edit that from there.

    But if you just want to change the color in that front page content section. Then you can add the following CSS in Custom CSS:

    #content .hero-content-wrapper .section-content-wrap:before {
    	background-color: #000;
    	opacity: 1;

    Hi Sakin!

    The CSS works perfectly for the black background, but I wanted to know how to have the actual background image overwrite the color background behind it in the front page section.

    For example, I uploaded a crosswalk image as the background, but I can’t make the image overwrite the black background behind it. Is there any way to do that?

    I tried different CSS, but I can’t seem to figure it out haha.

    If it’s much too cumbersome to change, then I understand.

    Nevertheless, thanks again for your reply and help! Really appreciate you taking the time to help me! :)

    As you already have a background image in the main content. Why don’t you just remove the padding? Can you try the following CSS:

    .hero-content-wrapper .section-content-wrap {
        padding: 0;
    .hero-content-wrapper .entry-content {
        margin-top: 0;

    Tried it, and it worked perfectly! Can’t thank you enough, Sakin! :)
