How do I make a custom 404 page on my blog?

    Wanting to make a custom 404 page for my blog. I’ve had a look at the WordPress Codex page for it but it’s using a different theme and I’m not 100% sure where to put in in my blog. I have tried using code before in my blog and it hasn’t worked although I have found alternative methods for those.

    Hi there,

    Unfortunately it doesn’t look like you can create a custom 404 page with your WP.com plan. You need to be able to edit custom page templates to upload into your theme, which isn’t possible with your site.
