how can I let my pages look the same as my archive-pages?
My compliments, I love your theme tdEditor. However I would love to show my pages the same as the archive-pages (with a header instead of a photo). I that possible?
The blog I need help with is literatuurmagazine.nl.
Thank you :) I am glad that you like this theme!
Are you talking about the single view pages ( https://tdeditordemo.wordpress.com/2014/06/10/relaxing-sounds-of-waves/ )?
If yes then I am afraid it’s not possible to have the same layout as it’s shown in archive views because it requires files’ modifications which is not allowed on WordPress.com.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Okay Tara, thanks for your reply. I have one more question. I want to make a forum page, how can I add the response possibility on this page that I can add beneath every blogpost?
and one more question :-)
Is it possible to show the sidebar only on the homepage and not on the other pages?
“I want to make a forum page, how can I add the response possibility on this page that I can add beneath every blogpost?”
– WordPress.com does not provide Forum functionality for websites that are hosted on WordPress.com. Here is a list of plugins that are available on WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
You can enable comment form on each blog post, so user can leave the comments: https://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/
“Is it possible to show the sidebar only on the homepage and not on the other pages?”
– Yes, WordPress.com provides Widget Visibility option to hide/show widget(s) on specific page(s). Please see this info: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility
Hope this helps.
