Homepage Layout with Blog Posts

  • Hi,

I have only just started my blog, and using the Gema theme. I have only done 2 posts so far, but I am wondering once I do more posts, if the homepage will display them in more of a mosaic style, where it fills the whole page as in the example, or if they will continue on a vertical line.. Will I need to change the sizes of the photos to achieve this effect or does the theme just arrange them as it sees fit?

    Thank you :)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

Thank you for reaching us. :-)

The order is rather simple and here’s an interesting article on how the posts are shown in the grid.

    Warm regards,
    Robert

  • Hi,

This didn’t really help explain why my post are going down in a straight line rather than in the grid format. It seemed to be more about how the came to build the webpage and the grid format on the homepage..

  • Also, on my about page and my contact page, there is a big blank gap from where the title is to where the writing begins. In my blog posts there is no gap, and I can’t figure out how to fix this for my about and contact pages.. I’m not too familiar with CSS, so I’m not sure if there is just a CSS I can put in which will easily fix this problem?

  • Hi,

    Apologies for this delay.

The order of the posts is this one: https://cl.ly/322M3U2j373v
Therefore, the order presented in the article I’ve sent before is respected.

Regarding the gap, I can see on our demo it looks the same. However, if you want to change it I can assist you with a bit of CSS code.

Let me know how it goes.

    Warm regards,
    Robert
