Homepage as per demo

    Hello there,
    I just started using the Candela theme (which is gorgeous, btw), and I’m trying to get my homepage to look like the one in the demo. How do I do this?
    Currently the front page is my blog posts page, and the only static page I have is my About page.

    So I guess I can only do this with my portfolio posts, and not with my blog posts?

    Is there a simple way to convert blog posts to portfolio posts that doesn’t include backing everything up (which I also cannot figure out)?

    Nothing makes me feel more incompetent than trying to redesign my blog….
