    On the Isca theme you have a highlighted photo, which will appear on the front of the website. Is there also a possibility to highlight the text for the front of the website? Now automaticly the first few sentences get picked, but sometimes I want to make my own text to appear. How do I do this?

    Hi – if you make use of the excerpt then you should get what you’re asking for I think.

    I don’t see the option Excerpt, only:

    – At a glance
    – Activity
    – Your stuff
    – What’s hot
    – Quick draft
    – Stats

    They are all checked.

    Sounds like you are looking on the dashboard. You need to edit the post – it only shows up there since that’s the page where the box will appear.
