    Hi there,

    How can I hide or remove the Comments section on the bottom right of images in the slideshow view and the facts that go with it. Specifically, I’d like to remove or hide the following for each image:

    – file name
    – comment box
    – image details like aperture, camera, focal length, shutter spead, etc.

    For Example on this page, https://hebgenlakeestates.org/gallery/#jp-carousel-345 I’d like to remove the file name, comments, aperture, camera, focal length, shutter spead, etc. from below the image.

    Is there a way to do this for all images? Basically, I only want to show the “Caption” section on each image.

    thanks in advance for your help.

    Hide File Name

    The blog I need help with is hebgenlakeestates.org.

    Hello!

    I believe you should have some options in your Settings to remove some of this information for your images. However, you can also hide this section but keep the caption with the following CSS using WordPress Premium:

    #jp-carousel-comment-form-container,
    .jp-carousel-image-meta {
        display: none;
    }

    Let me know if you have any issues with this.

    Thanks!

    Hi Rebecca,

    I added the CSS code but nothing changed. I also scoured the settings for a way to remove this information but couldn’t find anything for media changes. I’m not sure what else to do. Ideally I would like to only show the caption on the images in the slideshow view.

    thank you.

    Hello!

    It looks like the image meta has worked, but the comment form is the issue. Use the following instead of the above:

    #jp-carousel-comment-form,
    .jp-carousel-image-meta {
        display: none;
    }

    Let me know if you’re still seeing these after adding this one.

    Thanks!

    I added the code but I’m still seeing the comment and image info box on the bottom right of the images. For example: https://hebgenlakeestates.org/gallery/#jp-carousel-348

    Hello,

    Try clearing your cache to see if it helps. I’m not seeing any of those as you can see in this screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9knm6lm9l2js00o/Screenshot%202016-09-21%2019.45.41.png?dl=0.

    If that doesn’t work, try adding the !important declaration to your code:

    #jp-carousel-comment-form, .jp-carousel-image-meta {
        display: none !important;
    }

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    I added the code but the image data on the right side is still showing up on most images in the gallery. I’m not sure why it shows up on some but not on others.

    Hi Emily,

    Did you try with the !important declaration as I mention above?

    Otherwise make sure you turn off your exif data options under Settings > Media. See screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nbf6dnrrn15yi59/Screenshot%202016-09-22%2018.35.44.png?dl=0

    These should work hopefully.

    Thanks!
