  sorry, couldn’t find this on the documentation…

  Can one keep certain posts from appearing on the front page, where usually every new post gets showcased?

  The blog I need help with is juangalva.com.

  Unfortunately these kinds of things aren’t possible with WordPress.com.

  No, themes that you purchase on WordPress.com do not work with self-hosted sites.

  We have a version of Avid for sale for WordPress.org/self-hosted sites on our website if you’d like to purchase it for use elsewhere.
