"Hide Portfolio from blog page" keeps unchecking itself

    Hi there. I’m having issue with my portfolio posts showing up on my blog page, which I don’t want to happen. I have checked the Theme Options customizer box “hide portfolio from blog page,” but it doesn’t seem to be activating. The live preview doesn’t change, and if I save changes, the portfolio posts don’t disappear from the live site either. When I go back into the customizer, the box is unchecked again.
    Any idea what could be wrong? Is there a way I could fix this?

    I’ve found a work-around by making my blog page a regular page, and including a “latest posts” block. But I will leave up this question in case someone wants to examine the underlying issue, or others are looking for a work-around.
