Help With the About Me Excerpt

    Hi there,

    I have created my About Me page and added it to my Home page as the Featured page. I’m running into one of two problems:

    1. The featured box pulls too much text from my main About Me page rather than just the excerpt that I want it to show.
    2. I tried creating two separate About Me pages: one with only the excerpt text I want to show up on the Home page and a second with the full About Me information. I then typed in my own “Read More” text and tried to create a link to my full About Me page but the link doesn’t work.

    Ideally, I would rather correct #1 above and only have one About Me page with a custom excerpt pulled out to be featured on my Home page.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hello,

    You can either:

    1. Add a “Read More” tag within the page, to show a portion of the content on the homepage

    2. Or, add an excerpt for the page within the Excerpt field. Within the page editor, navigate to More Options > Excerpt
