Help! Bought new theme and it switched over, lost prior custom

    Um…. so I bought Minimum, and WordPress.com immediately moved my blog over to Minimum (and I wasn’t ready!). I switched back using the Manage Themes function, but all my customizations are lost to my prior design! Halp!

    OK, luckily I found a copy of my old CSS and have fixed. Related question: how can I sandbox a premium theme before rolling it out with custom CSS? Seems strange that I have to go live with it before I can play with it.

    The custom css box should still keep changes I think.

    There is no way to sandbox a new theme with extensive mods first.

    That’s unfortunate. I guess I could buy a second copy of it, but it’s odd to do so just for testing.

    There’d be no way to set it up on your other site though.

    The widgets do need to be put in place manually.
