Header Image Questions
-
Hi,
I would like to be able to use a custom sized header image (above the navigation) on my site. The instructions say that they recommend using 1200px x 500px however I wish to use the size 1200px x 100 px so it doesn’t take up as much space. When I try to upload the image as is it cuts off part of it. Is there a way to have it show the entire image with no cut off?
Also, is there a way to have the header image show on every page instead of just the home page?
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi napshealth,
You might be able to do that. Can you upload your image ? I will check if we can fix that with simple css. We will have to change the header height.
Thanks,

I didn’t have the image I wanted finished, but I created a quick placeholder of the same size.
It should be uploaded and ready to check out.

Ah, the navigation takes 80px of the height so that is blocking the background image which is 100px. For best results, maybe, you can create a 180px height image with 80px bar at the bottom. That way the 100px image will appear nicely on the top.

I will try that out.
Thank you.
Also do you know of a way to get the image on every page rather than just the home page?

Please go to Customize -> Header Image and you can check this option at the bottom:
Replace featured post and page headers with custom blog header.
That will show the custom header image in all pages.
