Header image behavior changed

MemberHello! Recently I noticed that my blog’s header image responsive design started behaving differently. Previously, upon shrinking the browser window, the image shrank and its field of view changed, if that makes any sense: the portion of the image that was visible depended on the browser window size.
Now the image remains a static height, but its width changes to fit the browser window.
On mobile footprints, this creates a mighty tall header image.
I hope this is making sense. It’s hard to describe.
It worked better the old way. Can we have it back?

AngelaThanks for making the image shrink better to fit!
But this still doesn’t work like it did before. This page on the theme’s description site shows it best:
Notice how on the phone footprint the whole header image doesn’t appear — just the center portion of it? This is the dynamic resizing it used to do. Is it possible to restore that?
