MemberHello there !
I have two structured data errors (author and updated fields) for each page of my site on google webmaster tools.
The support for microformats is built into yumblog theme itself.
I want to know how to fix this problem. Here is a sample from Google Tools :

MemberHi,
Thanks for reaching out! I will log an issue with the team to review and see what they recommend.
In the meantime, let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
AngelaHi Angela,
Thanks for your response, i wait for the result of dev’s analysis.
I noticed another incident, with “recipe shortcode” :When i write:
[recipe title="Crème Chantilly" servings="4" time="25 minutes" difficulty="Chef"]I see (in my french navigators IE11 & Firefox 32.0.3) :
Servings: 4 Date: 25 minutes Difficulté: Chef“servings” is not translated in french. (i expected to read “Portions”)
“time” is badly translated. (i expected to read “Durée”)
“difficulty” is well translated ^^The Yumblog dev team can make a choice:
– do not translate all these “recipe shortcode”.
– fix it for improve the translation.see you

MemberHi,
Thank you for your patience! My dev team is still reviewing the microformats.
Regarding your translation questions for recipes, I’m hoping our WordPress friends on the translations team can jump in here and answer your questions. I have added them to the thread.
Thanks,
Angelakathrynwp
StaffBonjour!
“servings” is not translated in french. (i expected to read “Portions”)
It’s translated currently as “Sert” – if you think it should be “Portions” instead, you can always propose the change here in GlotPress and the French (France) validator will have a look:
“time” is badly translated. (i expected to read “Durée”)
I updated this in GlotPress and it should be validated and go live in the next few days.
Bonjour kathrynWP :)
I did what you said – thank you very much for your suggestion!
Can you check if the developers have done the necessary for the microformats? Many thanks.

Great!
Can you check if the developers have done the necessary for the microformats?
Angela will need to get back to you regarding microformats since that’s a decision the theme’s devs will need to make.

MemberHi Nicolas,
Regarding your microformats, looks like you are actually having an issue with the way WordPress.com formats the recipe markup. It is not something we can fix. You would need to utilize the self-hosted version of Yumblog combined with the Recipe Schema plugin to be able to modify the recipe markup within posts.
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
Thanks,
AngelaHi Angela,
I have also noticed functional limitations between the self-hosted version and the cloud version, especially for the treatment of “recipe shema” markups.
Initialy, WordPress.com helpdesk asked me to contact yumblog for report the “hAtom microformats” incident.
Now, thanks to the results of yumblog analysis, they (wordpress.com) should be able to work on resolution. What do you propose to transfert this case to wordpress.com?
(I’m afraid they do not invest a lot of time because it’s not realy critical).for the near future, I hope that WordPress.com will include the full management features for the “recipe schema” markups.
Does this will be my Christmas gift? :p
Nicolas.

StaffHi Nicolas, we do have an enhancement request already in our system to add microdata to recipes, but unfortunately, after some initial research, our developers found that it’s not a simple change to make and we don’t have an ETA on if and when it might happen.
Hi Kathryn,
The full support of recipe schema is a key to yumblog/wordpress integration with search providers and third party applications.
I’m glad to know that you go this path :)Nicolas.

Hi Angela,
About translations in GlotPress:
I notice that the change is not effective for “time”.But it’s ok for “servings” (Portions).
Could you check with them?
Thanks a lot ^^kathrynwp
StaffThanks for following up about “durée” – looks like something didn’t go through correctly last time. I redid the translation update and will keep you posted here.
kathrynwp
StaffThe word “durée” is now live and visible on your recipes!
