Google Webmaster Tools Snippet Errors (low priority)

    Hi,

    I’m seeing some errors relating to our blog in Google Webmaster Tools:
    GWT > Structured Data > hatom (markup: microformats.org)

    Errors (examples):
    Missing: author (10 times)
    Missing: entry-title (10 times)
    Missing: updated (10 times)

    I’ve searched around and can’t tell whether this is a wordpress.com issue that can’t be fixed with the theme, or whether edits to the theme could get round this issue. (Apologies if it’s the former).

    Hi there – thanks for the report. Some of these can’t be fixed without changing the design of the theme – however I’ve added some classes that will at least reduce the number of issues.

    This will take around 24 – 48 hours to go live as the wordpress.com team have to check the code is ok.
