Getting the navigation bar to show

  I don’t understand how to get the navigation bar menu to show above the header widget?

  I haven’t changed any settings and it isn’t showing the navigations bar (i.e. the home, services, design, portfolio etc., that is there on the demo version). Is there a specific settings I need to activate for this to show?
