Gallery set up
First, you might want to create those 4 slideshows (in 4 pages). Then, create 1 page and add 4 images from each of those slideshows. Link each image to the URL of those 4 slideshow pages.
Hope that helps.
yes thats what I tried
Its the photography theme, if I insert a thumbs gallery I can’t edit each thumb separately to link them to separate pages.
If I insert the thumbs separately and add a caption it lines up each vertically.
WordPress gallery images – in any theme – don’t link to a separate static page. They either link to a larger version of the image, the image in a carousel, or the image’s attachment page, on which it’s not possible to add extra content like a slideshow.
A workaround is to do what Chandra suggested. If you need help lining up the images better with CSS, feel free to post in the CSS Customization forum and we’ll be glad to assist.
