Front Page video not loading after domain name forwarding (plus masking) set up

    Hi Edy,

    I hope you can help. The front page video worked fine until we set up domain name forwarding and masking.

    We changed the default https://whiterabbitsound.wordpress.com/ to http://www.whiterabbitmusicproductions.com and the video now isn’t loading. We absolutely want to use the new domain name with the theme we purchased, do you know what’s happening here?

    Hi,

    I am looking at a solution for this problem. I tested loading the script in iframes and it is working fine for me.
    The video is working fine at the actual website, but not at the domain redirect. That seems to be the issue.

    Can you make the domain http://www.whiterabbitmusicproductions.com default so that you don’t use redirect?

    Thanks for the Reply. How can i make the domain ‘Default’, im not sure i know how to do this. I think you’re charged for registering a personal domain through WordPress. We’d like to avoid that as we’ve invested in the theme and domain and email setup…

    Hi,

    You probably need to register that domain via wordpress.com. I am not sure about the cost so I suggest you ask the wordpress.com team.

    Hi Edy,

    Thanks for the message. We’ve registered with wordpress and the video now loads…but we now have a second problem.

    The images on out portfolio page look different on different screens and zooms. The images move around and leave gaps and space when zooming in and out. On the ‘Ladder’ Demo the images always remain the same size. How can we achieve this with our ‘featured’ images within the ‘projects’ page?

    Hi,

    It seems the project ‘Walking the Bardos’ has the featured image 500x499px, so it is stopping the next image to float to the left, thus ruining the alignment.

    The min. size of the featured images must be 500x500px.

    Hi Edy,

    Thanks that’s seemed to fix it. Last problem is that we’d like to have 8 featured images on the front page, but only 7 show up, leaving a blank space far right. All images are 500×500. any ideas why only 7 show on the front page and the 8th is pushed to ‘page 2’?

    You can change the amount of portfolio posts/page in ‘Settings-Writing’ in the bottom.
