Featured text not visible over featured picture

    I am trying to use the featured text overlaying the picture featured on the home page. I have a post which is tagged featured and have chosen the featured image but the text isn’t being displayed over it. The only way I see the text is if I take the header image off and the featured image. The text overlays a generic sample image. Why is this?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out. I believe you will need to add text within the “Excerpt” field for displaying text on top of the Featured Images within the slider.

    You can find the “Excerpt” field on the right, just below the Featured Image, when editing a post or page.

    Let us know if that works.
