    Hi there, I wonder if you can help with these 2 queries:

    1. Is it possible to have the featured post section as a page instead of a post (thus eliminating category & date information?) I tired the CSS as previously advised but it did not seem to do anything (plus I wish to keep that information for other posts – it’s only for this one I don’t want the information showing)

    2. I would like to be able to cross reference my static pages with relevant posts via the Categories function. Is it possible to add Category information on my pages?

    Many thanks!

    The blog I need help with is london-nerc-dtp.org.

    The css I mentioned before would have worked only on the homepage in the featured content area. I don’t know why it didn’t work before but the following should work fine.

    #lead .date { display:none; }

    If you wish then you can change the homepage to a static page – as described here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

    In WordPress pages don’t have categories so I am afraid it isn’t possible to link them in this way (that’s the same for any theme – not just Mimbo Pro).

    Thank you, will try again, in case I did something wrong.

    Re: pages, is it possible to install a plugin or a widget that would enable the tagging / categorising of pages?

    Hi – plugins are not available on wordpress.com and there’s no widgets that do anything like this I am afraid.

    thanks for the reply – one more (hopefully no more to follow!)

    Regarding new/recent posts – I would like to remove the highlight feature of all recent blog posts shown in the summary sections – the first two posts are highlighted by a coloured box (in my case green) and order posts are on a plain white background – I would like all posts to look the same and to have the highlighted colour box removed from appearing in all new/recent posts – is this possible please?
    I have uploaded two screenshots – the first shows the posts with the green box around them and second without – i would like to have all posts without the green boxes. My blog is currently set to private as we have not finalised the text yet – so i have sent you a link to my flickr account which has both screenshots there : http://www.flickr.com/photos/mazmataz/ thank you very much :)
