MemberHello
I went to my blog and my featured image isn’t showing on my static homepage yet the image is showing in the featured image box. Tried deleting it and updating and inserting it again and updating with no luck. I was able to get this featured image to show up on another of my pages but no luck with my homepage. It’s been awhile since I messed around with my WordPress site so I don’t know why this happened to begin with. Thanks for your help.

Theme AuthorI’d recommend creating a new page for your home page. This page could have a the featured image set and the video pasted in the content area. Do not set a page template or make the page a child page of another page.
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks for the quick response. I’ll be trying to square this away later today.

Theme AuthorSounds good. Let me know how it goes.
Hey Luke M.
I ended up changing the homepage and got the featured photo squared away but couldn’t get the large video to appear as well like it used to on the homepage. Before I had the huge featured photo and the huge video on the homepage. Now it’s the smaller version of the video(which I think I will stay with anyway due to some new videos I want to put there soon) and a bigger but still smaller video on the video page I created. Not sure how to get that huge format for the video on the video page.
Thanks again for your time.

Theme AuthorIt still looks like your front page is using a page with a page template set (Video Archive). You’ll want to use a stand page, set the featured image, and then add the video URL into the content area. This will display a large image at the top and the video underneath. If you want the video full width, you may try setting the page to use the Full Width page template.
