    The featured image slide show does not work, and the featured image background is also not working.

    If I wanted a blank background, I wouldn’t have bought your theme. You sell it by saying that your theme includes using featured images as backgrounds, either on each post or as a replacement slideshow on tablets or phones which don’t run the video.

    Please explain exactly why this doesn’t work, or fix it, or delete it from your list of features, as it is not true.

    Could you try disabling lazy load (photon) from JetPack? I think that is interfering with the background images.

    Edy, you solved it. Thank you.

    I guess I spoke too soon about it not working – looks like it works perfectly, now – both the background images and the slideshow on tablet and phone. I was frustrated it didn’t work because it’s such a great design concept.

    For anyone reading, disabling ‘lazy image loading’ is on the second page of the JetPack settings (Plugins>Jetpack – Settings). It’s a little slider button about halfway down
