    Hello,

I would like to know the appropriate pixel size for featured images for individual blog posts, so they appear correctly on the homepage.

The site I need help with is http://theanxiousdaddy.com.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Hello there,
Thank you for writing and using Silvio!

As you can see in the demo site, the layout is elastic and responsive, so if you resize your browser windows, you will notice that the square for each post will be change in the aspect radio.

So, in order to get the maximum device compatibility (tablets, smartphones, all desktop computers…), all images that are set as featured images should be 920px wide min. and 520px height min.

So, we recommend to use a 920/520px aspect radio. When the square will be lower (for example on small screens), the image will be centered with the “cover” property, with means:

“Scale the image, while preserving its intrinsic aspect ratio (if any), to the smallest size such that both its width and its height can completely cover the background positioning area. If the background image has no intrinsic proportion and no intrinsic dimension, then it is rendered at the size of the background positioning area.”

    hope this helps :)
    Thank you again!
