Featured Image not showing up in Posts

  Since the latest WordPress updates, it seems that featured image has stopped showing up on blog posts. Has anyone else notice this? I dont want put a image block on the top as this does not show up when I share on Social Media.

  The theme is designed not to show featured image in single post view, you can view see the example here: https://businessidentitydemo.wordpress.com/2014/06/15/using-infinite-scroll-for-better-browsing/. Notice that featured image assigned in blog/home page view: https://businessidentitydemo.wordpress.com/updates/ doesn’t show in single post view.
