  I’m having trouble finding where/how to activate the Featured Content Slider. Can you point me to where in the customization menu it can be found? Or how to get the section to appear?

  You can find the setting under “Customize”, here is a tutorial on theme customizations: https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/

  Does this help or do you need further help on how to find the setting for the slider?
