featured content order on home page

  Hello,
  Is there a way to change the order that feature content shows up on the home page? I’ve tried a couple of times now adding the “featured” tag in and updating in different orders but can’t seem to get things the way I want them to be.

  OK. Think I’ve got something functional for now. Modifying the publish date can get them to stay in the desired order. I was concerned that a child page might trigger a shift but for right now seems to be working.

  The featured content functionality on WordPress.com uses tags and is ordered by publish date. It sounds like you got this figured out, which is great.
