Featured Content menu not giving me options it should

I’ve just started building a website around Caldwell theme, but I’m experiencing problems with the featured content area…
I’m able to expand the menu but I don’t get an “add posts” option?
Can you please advise? Below details the stage I get stuck on…
Go to Appearance → Customize
Click the Featured Content section to expand it.
Click on “Add Posts”
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
