    Hi there, I wonder if you could make possible for us to choose the position of our featured posts. Because when you tag, the most recent one goes on the #1 position, but what if I want to promote some old post on the #1? That would be great!

    Hi there – thanks for the feedback. The featured content feature is built by wordpress.com so I shall pass this on to them.

    This isn’t possible with the way Featured Content works, and it’s not something on the radar. If you want to re-showcase an older Featured Content post, you could try using the copy post tool.

    Hey @binarymoon, if I mark a post as sticky and tag as featured, it will stay on the top featured position? (I didn’t opened another thread because it’s a related question)

    Hi there – that’s an interesting idea. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, the sticky post property is ignored by the featured content, however you can always use sticky posts to re-highlight older posts in the main post listings. Just make sure to tick the ‘display tag content in all listings’ box and it should show on the homepage again.

    Yeah, I’ve tried to sticky one post myself and didn’t change much on the featured content. Thanks anyway!
