feature photo size
Well, I’m back after trying to find a work around for this. I can’t seem to figure it out. I’d like for the tiles on the home page to have a static size. My older readers will really struggle without it.
If you can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate the help.
The blog I need help with is: carnesvilleumc.org
Publisher is specifically designed to automatically fit different sized items together the way you see it on your site and our demo. Making all your featured images, excerpts, etc. all the exact same size so that it would work the way you describe would require some very purposeful work every time you post something.
If you need a uniform set of blocks, you might want to check out our theme called Designer. It has 4 different layout options for the blocks. The default one is a tiled setting that fits together like Publisher, but it also has Landscape, Portrait, and Square that give you the ability to present static sized content easier.
Designer looks a little different, with 2 columns, but that would probably be easier for the older readers to see. By default the sidebar is collapsed, but it does offer an option to be expanded. See this demo.
Gotcha. I’m really enjoying Publisher, and may see how it flies. I appreciate the info and the link.
