    How do I get the featured image of a page, not to appear in the header?

    Do you mean header image in certain page? Also link to a page what you mean and which image would you not like to appear.

    For example, on my about us page the feature image populates the header, but I don’t want it to.

    On about us page set Feature image smaller than 1920 x 379 pixels and it won’t get used in header.

    If you set Feature Image at least 1920 x 379 pixels that replaces the original Header Image.
