Extra portfolio items appearing on Home page

    Hi,

    There’s a problem on my home page where additional portfolio items (chronologically ordered) are appearing under the first three. I haven’t done anything to make this happen– it has been at least a month since I updated the site, and it was fine.

    I can get rid of them when I go to the Settings –> Writing page and only enable 3 portfolio items per page. But on other pages, I need to display up to 6, so that’s not a good fix.

    On the other hand, whatever happened is interesting– if it’s possible to display more than 3 portfolio items on the home page, that would save me from having to trick the Blog display into working like the Portfolio display. But the formatting needs help.

    Please advise!
