Eu Cookie Law Banner
I’ve added an EU Cookie Law Banner to the Appearance -> Widgets -> Middle Footer section, in my WordPress admin. It is displaying correctly on all pages, except for the Home page, where it does not display at all; I need it to display on the Home page please.
Is there a CSS code fix for this please?
Thank you very much for your time and help!
The blog I need help with is christopherpage.online.
Unfortunately, this can’t be adjusted with CSS. This theme does not show widgets on the home page when it’s set to show your posts. However, you can set a static home page as the front page. Instructions are here for that. That page will show widgets, and allow your EU Cookie Law Banner to show.
If you have other questions, just ask.
Thanks for chiming in, David!
Christopher, from what David just shared, it looks like there’s not a lot of options sorry! Switching to a static home page doesn’t play well with Avid.
Just thinking aloud here — what if you created a Quote post with this privacy message in it? You could mark this post Sticky so it’s always at the top of your post list. Just an idea 😀
Sorry about that! Wish we had better news for you.
Hi David & Scott,
Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate your time and support.
I’m unsure as to what to do here, I will have to think about what you’ve shared with me, and decide on a solution. Apologies if I have to come back to you again, I will issue a new post if I need to.
I’m most grateful for your help. All the best.
