Entry: Selected Posts
Hi there, I have a question:
please have a look at my blog, http://www.fotopraxis.net — there is a menu entry called “Selected Workshops”. I would love to have like 10 or 12 of my best blog entries collected under this menu point.
But I can place there only one. :-(
Is there a way to solve this?
thanks in advance and all the best Vicco
The blog I need help with is fotopraxis.net.
Why not just create a category called Selected Workshops and put your blog posts under that category? That way, when you have a category link on the menu, it will show all your best blog entries.
Not sure if that resolves what you are trying to do. Let me know.
Hey, Chandra, thanks for the reply —- that sounds very good!
Could you go (for me like … a wordpress newby) a little more in detail? How does that work exactly?
thanks a bunch in advance,
all the best Vicco
As I mentioned before, all you need to do is create blog posts with one specific category such as “Selected Workshops” in this case. So, if you have 10 of those posts, they will all show up when you select that Selected Workshops category. You can add this category from Appearance -> Menu page in your admin. It should be pretty simple.
I see that you are currently showing them in a “page” which might not be the best way as editing or adding more workshops can be tedious. With “posts”, you can either add more or remove them if you don’t want them to show.
Let me know if you need further help.
thanks again, Chandra, I wil try that, sounds like a great relief!
1. Perfect service
2. Great blogging platform
all the best
haha, it WORKS, exactly, what I wanted, so easy, love it!
Sorry, I never understood what this category stuff meant, silly me!
Great, Awesome! Thanks. :-)
