Editing home page and Site Icon?
Weird, I posted this question and it never showed up. So posting again. I managed to add a text widget that displays a “All photographs are owned by me …” copyright message; however there is no place to put this info on Home Page. Only place seems to be after tag line but that makes it too wordy and ruins the impact of the tag line. Any suggestions of where else I can put this?
Also what exactly is the Site Icon and how necessary is it to have one?
The blog I need help with is: gobeyondtravelblog.com
One way would be to go for a dedicated copyrights page and place that page in the navigation menu. However, if the message is not big and it is something like ⒸJenni(with a link to your profile or something), then you can place that that in the navigation menu.
I hope this helped.
Hi Robert, hmm not sure I understand. I added it as a widget but it’s still not as visible as I’d like. I’ll experiment and see what I can do.
By the way, do you happen to know who I contact regarding the whole upgrade thing? I upgraded my WordPress to keep away ads, but it seems to only apply to this premium theme, not my Headlines premium theme where I have my portfolio. Wondering who to ask about this!
Thanks again for your help. :)
Apologies for this delay.
Regarding the ads part, let’s see what the folks at WordPress.com can help us with.
Hi Jenni, the only Premium plan I see on your account was added to this site in April 2017 to gobeyondtravelblog.wordpress.com (gobeyondtravelblog.com).
Did you mean to add the plan to a different site instead?
