    Hello again,

    Trying to make the recipes listed in the categories page a bit more reader friendly, so would like to edit the way items are being displayed, is there anyway I can do that for the categories page, or are is there some way to change the template for categories?

    Example – https://inapinchofthyme.com/category/all-recipes/

    Instead I just created a Post to serve as it’s replacement – https://inapinchofthyme.com/2020/09/01/all-recipes/

    I would like to however utilize the categories block to just have an automatic list of categories showing that users can click on.

    Thanks in advance for your help!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello,

    You can change the number of columns for the recipe page within the theme options. Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Portfolio Template within the WordPress admin. Then, you can choose the number of columns to display your recipes.

    Here is a screenshot of the option, https://cloudup.com/cMvpXor7O9O

    Currently, the Portfolio Page template only displays an archive of your portfolio posts, and does not display page content. We will look into pushing a theme update that allows for the display of blocks on the page as well.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!

    Hey David,

    Thanks for writing back!

    Ok, have some follow up, as I am new to WordPress, so just trying to figure it all out and optimize the layout and content posting.

    If I create a page, use the Portfolio template, I would select a Project from my portfolio – but how do posts get associated to that project?

    Originally though, was talking about the category page’s – https://inapinchofthyme.com/category/all-recipes/ — the posts show up so big, would like to make that multi-columned if possible as well

    Hello,

    I if you would like category pages multi-columned, you can add the following styles within the Additional CSS section of the Customizer:

    @media screen and (min-width: 768px) {
      .category #infinite-container {
        display: flex;
        flex-wrap: wrap;
        justify-content: space-between;
      }
      .category .blog-holder {
        width: 32%;
      }
    }

    Regarding the portfolio page template, the page template automatically displays all projects. I’m not entirely clear what you mean by associating posts with the project, since projects are a separate post type. If you would like your projects to somehow link to specific posts or categories, you can use the Page Links To plugin if your account permits, https://wordpress.org/plugins/page-links-to/

    I hope this helps. Thanks!
