Duplicate Meta Descriptions
Hi, I noted my website has https://optimalhealthfacts.com/ and https://optimalhealthfacts.com/page/2/. Both of these pages have similar content (duplicate) but the second does not provide all posts. I asked support about this problem after my website was flagged as having duplicate meta descriptions on Semrush. They investigated and found that it might be related to a pagination feature for archive pages in the aquene theme. Is there an option to disable this pagination feature?
The blog I need help with is: optimalhealthfacts.com
Thank you for using the Aquene theme
“They investigated and found that it might be related to a pagination feature for archive pages in the aquene theme. Is there an option to disable this pagination feature?”
– The theme uses a navigation functionality which comes from a WordPress core.
The same navigation feature is used in many other WordPress.com and WordPress.org themes. For example, the latest official WordPress theme — Twenty Twenty-One — also uses this functionality for navigation in archive views.
So, I do not think that this functionality (navigation) causes the issue because this function is recommended for use by WordPress coding standards.
I am afraid it’s not possible to disable this navigation completely. However, at the moment, your site does not show a navigation in archive views because the Infinite Scroll is enabled.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
