Drop down menu options on tablet

On my blog, I have an “other” category, which supports a drop down menu of further categories. The function on the desktop and mobile are fine, but on the tablet, if I click the “other” category, I get everything in the subsequent categories displayed. What I want to do is make that function so that the drop down appears (and stays dropped down), without displaying everything in all subsequent categories (so people can choose from the subsequent categories). Is that possible? :)

Ah – well that’s a conundrum. I shall look into this and see what I can do.
Hi – I have submitted a theme update that will hopefully fix this. The update needs to be approved by a wordpress.com theme team member. Hopefully it will be resolved before the friday business theme update.
