  Hi,
  I downloaded Modern News and have tried to install a plugin. After much googling, i realised that i should have a dropdown plugin menu on my WordPress dashboard and I don’t.
  Please help, I’m a total newbie and would like to get SEO on my site.

  Hi Melinda. Plugin installations are not allowed on WordPress.com; that’s a feature of self-hosted WordPress.org blogs. With regard to your settings panel for Modern News you will find it under Appearance -> Theme Options. Hope that helps.

  The Modern News theme also has SEO settings built in – no need for a plugin.

  I honestly don’t have anything for SEO. Where do i access this in the menu? I have gone through every menu!

  Actually, this theme has the SEO built in. There are no settings for it here on WordPress.com,but it is done for you.
