Display shorter excerpt from pages on front page

    Hi,

    I have chosen to display a page on the front page of my site, hildehagelin.com.

    An excerpt from the page is displayed, but I would like to make the excerpt even shorter. I have tried using the Read More-tag, but that won´t do the trick.

    How can I solve this?

    Further, the text in the excerpt is not displayed in the same way as it is on the actual page. The text in the excerpt is displayed as one long text without any space, even though I have inserted paragraphs and it is shown correctly on the page.

    Did you also decided to switch theme:)

    Anyways, you can’t change excerpt length in wp.com. Also, excerpt strips empty spaces, paragraph and all HTML tags and you can’t use custom excerpt in wp.com
