DEVELOPER CONTACT FOR THIS THEME ON ISSUE WITH HOMEPAGE BOTTOM IMAGE LINK
-
Hi
Who is the developer to speak to regarding the theme and an issue with the homepage?
-
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. The theme development team responds to these support forums. Can you please provide the details and a link related to your issue?
Thanks!
-
There is a large image space nearest the bottom of the page, however unlike the other image blocks, you cannot click through or add a link to this image (where it says ‘we use only fresh…) and it doesn’t function well for the page if this option is not available – what is the best and easiest way of doing this? i.e. adding a link to the page: https://wordpress.com/theme/restaurant/setup
-
Thanks for clarifying. The Featured Bottom Page described in the demo is intended to display as a banner within the homepage, and is not clickable by default. However, you can add a clickable link within this content by adding HTML within the excerpt field, like so:
<a href="http://mylink.com">Learn More</a>
-
Wonderful thanks!
Is there a coding I can add to alter the colour so the text ‘learn more’ for example reads better on the image?
-
Thanks for the email
What would the HTML be for changing the colour of the text of the ‘Learn More’ ?
-
Hello,
You can update Emily’s provided HTML to the following:
<a href="http://mylink.com" style="color: #ff0000;">Learn More</a>
Then, you can edit the “#ff0000” HEX code with the color of your choice.
I hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi, I opened another post but can you delete the post as also I don’t want the website being pasted onto the forum as on a post
Here is the new question:
How to set up product pageHow do you set up product page like this one: https://pffcoffee.com/product-category/glassware/
But with images the same size?

Hello,
Do you have an eCommerce membership? This page outlines how to create products on your site, https://wordpress.com/support/ecommerce/
On the site you referenced, they are using WooCommerce to build their online store. Also, the link you referenced is using product categories. So, you’ll need to add your products, then apply categories to each product. Then, within the Appearance > Menus section of the WordPress admin, you can add a link to display a product category, and it will display your products in a layout similar to the link you provided.
I hope this helps.
Thanks!
