  Hi,

  On the Delicious Magazine theme, when I change the home page to a static page, I loose the featured slider. I do not want blog entries on the home page, just the featured slider and some text. How can I create this? Is it possible to add the slider to a static page?

  Hi,

  Unfortunately, slider works only with the Reading Settings set to: Your Latest Posts.

  So you can’t use it on a static page.

  This was my problem too. Any chance you guys will change that anytime soon? That is the one step to making it look exactly how I want!

  Hi,

  I don’t think so. The slider is designed to be on the front page.

  In order to customize it by yourself, you would need to run your blog as a self-hosted WordPress.org installation, and perform a customization on the template (php) code.
