    Is it possible to add an overlay to the header images for my posts? On some of the posts, the image makes it hard to see the post titles.

    The blog I need help with is ymnelson.com.

    Hello,

    It looks like you have a custom CSS which disables overlay on your site. You can add this custom CSS in order to enable it just for your posts:

    .single-post .has-background-cover .overlay {
      opacity: 0.6;
    }

    Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind regards,
    Taras

    Hi Taras–

    Okay, I think I see what I did. Is this the CSS that’s disabling the overlay?

    .has-background-cover .overlay {
    opacity: 0;
    }

    All I really wanted was no overlay on the front page feature image. I do want overlay everywhere else. How do I do that?

    Thanks,
    Y. M.

    “Is this the CSS that’s disabling the overlay?”
    – Correct. Please remove that custom CSS.

    “All I really wanted was no overlay on the front page feature image.”
    – In this case, please just use this custom CSS:

    .fullscreen-header .overlay {
      opacity: 0;
    }

    Let me know if you have any additional questions about the overlay on your site.

    Kind regards,
    Taras
