    Hi there

    I was hoping you could help with me with CSS support to change the colour of my font for the rollover highlight on the top menu, the bottom highlighted box for the next or following pages on the blog and a few small icons on the widgets. It appears to be all the same highlighted colour as it’s part of the palette I selected, but it’s not an option on the colour selection.

    Thanks in advance

    Natasha

    The blog I need help with is themindfuldancer.com.

    Thanks for your reply. I’ve taken the under construction mode off now. You should be able to access it if you pick this message this afternoon.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi there,
    thank you for taking it off, here you are some codes and the current color code they are using:

    Menu font on hover:

    .nav-menu li a:hover {
        color: #e93e3e;
    }

    Next Post/ previous Post

    a.more-link, .st-button, button, input[type="submit"], input[type="button"], input[type="reset"], .comment-navigation a, .nav-links .nav-previous, .nav-links .nav-next, a.comment-reply-link {
        background-color: #eb6f6f;
    }

    Icon in Recent post Widget

    .widget_recent_entries>ul>li:before {
        color: #e93e3e;
    }

    Arrows in Read more and Search:

    .entry-summary a.more-link:after,
    #searchform .submit:after {
        color: #e93e3e;
    }

    Here you are how to customise the hex colors:

    Hope this helps :)

    Thank you for those – that all worked great.

    I have found two more I need to change. The text colour on the menu after the page is selected (not the hover).

    The box on my log in/log out and create and account forms are highlighted if not filled out (required items). I want to change that colour fill.

    Thanks so much.

    Also the hover colour on buttons like “Sign Up”?

    #131654

    The text on the same Sign Up/Subscribe buttons? Sorry to keep adding more! Is there anywhere else I can get the CSS for these? I don’t like to keep asking.

    Hi there,
    yes, to know which CSS is being applied you can follow this doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/how-to-find-your-themes-css/

    About your questions:

    – Button hover:

    a.more-link:hover, .st-button:hover, button:hover, input[type=submit]:hover, input[type=button]:hover, input[type=reset]:hover, .comment-navigation a:hover, .nav-links .nav-previous:hover, .nav-links .nav-next:hover, a.comment-reply-link:hover {
        color: #fff;
        background-color: #00BCD4;
    }

    – Current Page color

    .nav-menu .current-menu-item>a, .nav-menu .current-menu-ancestor>a, .nav-menu .current_page_item>a, .nav-menu .current_page_ancestor>a {
        color: #03A9F4;
    }

    – subscription input:

    #page .widget_blog_subscription input[type=text] {
        background-color: #aaa;
        border: 1px solid #00BCD4;
    }

    – Subscription tecx color:

    #page .widget_blog_subscription form {
        color: #aaa;
    }

    Hope this helps :)
    Thank you!
