    I think I need help with just one more thing, Philip.

    I was able to change the excerpt text to white (not translucent) but cannot figure how to do it for the headline. Similarly, I want to make the headline twice as big – like on thp.org. How can I do it?

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is: jcoonrod.wordpress.com

    Just a quick heads up that I’ll tackle this in my morning. It’s midnight here so shouldn’t be much longer. Thanks so much for the patience!

    Hey Wow! How’d you get the Menu above the header image? That looks fantastic.

    Hi Growlies – no, only the color stripes are the 5px high header image. The feature slider is below the menu and is distinct from the header image. But yes – we love this theme – it’s exactly what we wanted.

    Alright. Back in business.

    @jcoonrod, regarding this:

    I was able to change the excerpt text to white (not translucent) but cannot figure how to do it for the headline. Similarly, I want to make the headline twice as big – like on thp.org. How can I do it?

    Try this:

    #featured-content h1,
    #featured-content h1 a {
    	font-size: 2.5em;
    	color: white;
    }

    Cheers.

    Great! Thanks! That worked! I also added line-spacing:1;
