    Hello,

    I have a few questions about editing CSS with traction. I’m hoping to adjust the color of the top grey navigation bar to the same color as the blue nav bar right below the logo. Secondly, is it possible to change the background color of the currently black footer? Finally, can I edit the font color and/or size of the footer credits (blog at wordpress.com)?

    Thanks you in advance for your help!

    Hi there!

    I’m hoping to adjust the color of the top grey navigation bar to the same color as the blue nav bar right below the logo.

    To set a custom background color for your navigation menu, navigate to Appearance → Custom Design → CSS, and add the following code:

    /* Custom navigation background color */
    #pg-nav-bg {
        background: #2D6698;
    }

    Secondly, is it possible to change the background color of the currently black footer?

    Yes, to adjust this color, try adding in this code:

    /* Custom footer background color */
    #footer {
        background: #1B67E0;
    }

    Feel free to change the color value of #1B67E0 to your liking. You may also find it helpful to use this color picker.

    Finally, can I edit the font color and/or size of the footer credits (blog at wordpress.com)?

    Certainly, however, it is important to note, you cannot remove the WordPress byline. To adjust your byline’s font size and color, try this:

    /* Custom copyright styles */
    #copyright,
    #copyright a {
        font-size: 11px;
        color: #aaaaaa;
    }
