    Hi there!

You can find all your projects at the following url:

Let me know if that helps!

Sorry for the tardy reply, I figured out my problem with a previous post and some fiddling around.

Another question I have is, is there a way of having a popup box when people visit my site to subscribe? and another subscribe link on my primary menu next to my contact link???

    Warm regards,

….I found the mail chimp popup just wandering though, the follow blog button we can add to our sidebar or footer already sends out emails when I make new posts and adds up my followers. If i add the mail chimp popup will people receive two emails from me with updates? and have another count of how many people follow me? or does mail chimp just store emails and if i want to email them all I can use their site?….

On another note on my appearance and under widgets I don’t have an About me widget is this because I haven’t updated the theme? If so how do I do that?

Another widget my Recent posts, It only shows the text and option to add the date but doesn’t show option to add in a little image preview of the post. Is this also included in a update I need?

Hope everything I asked made scene and isn’t to much.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

    Everything made perfect sense. :)

Mailchimp vs Follow: As far as I know these are two separate lists. The Follow Me button is specific to your posts and the MailChimp pop up is sent to your MailChimp account which then allows you to send out the campaigns you created or your posts. I’ve asked someone from to confirm what I just said so. Stay tuned!

About Me widget: Looks like the About Me widget is no longer available. You can use the Gravatar Profile Widget instead.

Recent Posts: I don’t beleive the Recent Posts widget on shows images. Once again, I’ll have someone from confirm that for us.

    Ok brilliant :)
Ill try to gravatar profile widget and see how I go.

Does it make a difference for the recent posts widget if I had

    Hi there,

Recent Posts: I don’t beleive the Recent Posts widget on shows images. Once again, I’ll have someone from confirm that for us.

No, it does not. I checked my self-hosted site Recent Posts widget and it does not have the option to show images either.

What I would recommend is to use the Display WordPress Posts widget and enter the URL of your site and then configure it to show the featured image.

Tried the Gravatar and added just insert text widget below it but gravatar shows my profile imagine and a link to my profile on their site under it, so didn’t look very appealing.

Is there a way of adding the little social media images & links on my sidebar as well as it does on my primary menu??

I have made a beauty page and added a beauty category, but when I make a test post and put it under the beauty category, the post doesn’t show up on the beauty page. It shows up as just a regular blog post. The beauty page just has “Beauty” as a header and nothing else.

    Am I missing a step?

I had this same issue when I made my travel page. The only way I could get posts to show up was to make a sub-heading of italy and england to come up under travel, by adding a category for both of these then adding these categories in customising menu section.

I don’t want to do this for the beauty page, I just want all posts regarding it to come up under the one menu link.

    Hi there,

Could you give me a link to one of the beauty posts? I’d like a better idea of how you’re creating them.

I have yet to make an actual post but here is the test page I made

This is the page that comes up after hitting the beauty link in the menu.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the links.

When you create a post and link it to a category, you’ll then be able to see all the posts from that category on its archive page. The archive page is what you want to add to your menu. So if you have a category called “Beauty” you would be able to see all posts at

This is exactly what you did with England and Italy categories.

Creating a page like you did for Travel or Beauty won’t link your posts them, unfortunately. Pages are used for static content only. Like your About or Contact page.

So for your Travel menu item, you should create a category called Travel and then add all your Italy and England posts to the category (posts can have more than one category). The add the Travel category to your menu.

Here is some more documentation in case my explanation wasn’t clear. :)

Please let me know if that helped!

Amazing! Thank you so much, helped loads and was ridiculously simple. hahaha.
