Continuous Numbering Between Blocks?

    I’m writing a future post that is essentially a long list broken up by a few subcategories. The subcategories are in separate blocks. When I do that, the numbering starts over to 1., 2., 3., etc. I’d like the numbering to continue from the block above. If this provides additional context, the title might be (but it’s not), “35 Things to Take to Europe this Summer without Overpacking” and the subcategories would be Clothing, Toiletries, Essentials, etc.

    Is it possible to have continuous numbering between blocks?

    As it happens, that’s a quirk of WordPress. Meaning, any theme you pick will do the same thing.

    I know it’s a bit annoying and sadly there’s not real solution. All I would suggest is that you don’t design the items as lists and instead manually add the numbers in.
